"Guys/girls in Riverside are interested in qualities which include humor, security, and comfort/safety with one another. Good dating spots in Riverside include the Mission Inn/Downtown area, the Mission Grove Movie Theater, or any good somewhat well-known/respected restaurant. You can meet singles in the area at places to gather such as TGIFridays, the mall, bowling alley, hooka bar, and other places where it's easy to gather together." -Linzee, OrangeCrest
Most people in Riverside are desperately trying to escape Riverside. Though I'm sure there is a rich cultural heritage in this town (such as oranges...and more oranges), for extroverted people looking to party, most would rather take the hour drive either north to L.A. or south to San Diego County. That being said, our biggest highlight would be our location.
However, I suppose I should mention LOCAL things. Fortunately, it's all conveniently located downtown, near UC Riverside. Mission Inn, for you history buffs. Sevillas for the nightlife. Ever been to Miyako's? It's my favorite japanese restaurant for the chicken udon dish. Joe's - borderline service for great sushi. Tyler Mall for all of your shopping needs. (Although the Riverside Plaza on Central is coming along REALLY nicely - almost like a mini Victoria Gardens). And Starbucks on every corner, everywhere you turn. What more can you ask for?!
Personally...I hang out at the University Village. I'm a pool shar--well, I'm not good. Yet. But Tropics is an awesome poolhall. That's all I could think of..." -Raquel, Riverside
"Riverside is a great little town with a lot of hidden restaurants. For a nice romantic lunch I recommend "The Backstreet" - a popular little place that if you don't know the name or location you'll never find. For a quiet dinner try Gerrards on Magnolia. " -Joseph Moore, Riverside CA
